Founder
Founder, DataNagan
Eric has spent more than 25 years working inside real businesses—not only advising from the outside, but operating customer workflows, marketing, communication, vendor relationships, orders, approvals, billing, websites, follow-up, and recurring processes.
His work has included business operations, printing industry operations, marketing, customer communication, workflow design, automation, and operational management. Over time, the same pattern kept appearing: businesses accumulate tools, people, emails, and processes—yet important work still falls between them.
Technology alone doesn't solve it. People alone don't solve it. Automation alone doesn't solve it. What was missing was an owned system: good process, appropriate technology, human judgment, accountability, and continuous improvement.
DataNagan grew out of solving that problem in real operations—building systems around outcomes that matter, running them, and improving them as the work reveals what actually creates delay.
DataNagan is based in San Francisco, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The initial focus is helping Bay Area businesses and organizations; DataNagan also works with teams beyond the region where the fit is right.
Software can track the work. It can't own the outcome. DataNagan exists to build, run, and improve the systems that important work still requires.
Why DataNagan exists
Most organizations are not short on ideas or software. They are short on a reliable way to make important outcomes happen consistently across marketing, communication, sales follow-up, and operations.
DataNagan was created to close that gap—not with another platform for clients to operate, but with accountable systems built from experience running businesses day to day.
Our operating philosophy
Structured processes and thoughtful automation support people—they do not replace judgment. The goal is straightforward: make important outcomes more consistent, communication more reliable, and recurring work less dependent on memory.
Clients experience DataNagan as the partner that owns the system around a defined outcome—and stays with that system as it improves.
